The Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics has forever been known as one of the most prominent and prestigious Commerce colleges in Mumbai. Consistently positioned amongst the top institutions of learning when it comes to Business Studies and Economics, NM has been known to churn out outstanding talent year after year. Enter, The E-cell of NM college established in 2014 and its flagship initiative — Intent!
Like the name says it — Intent, was originally an idea that started off as an Annual Business Plan Competition (BPC) to encourage students to foster their thoughts and take the pioneering course. Through the years, Intent has facilitated numerous events like Business Plan Competition, Ignite 2.0, International Conference, and the well-renowned Leadership Summit.
The Competition proved to be a major blessing for budding entrepreneurs as it gave them an opportunity to pitch their ideas to distinguished Business personalities and even raise funds from investors for their start-ups.
Notable speakers like Mr. Jagdeep Kapoor, Mr. Nirmal Jain (Founder of India Infoline Group), Shri R.S. Sodhi (Managing Director, Amul), Mr. Nilesh Shah (MD, Kotak Mahindra AMC), Shri Harsh Mariwala, (Founder of Marico) and many others have graced the Leadership Summit with their presence.
Media personalities like Shraddha Gurung, Prajakta Koli, Be YouNick have lent their on-ground experiences to add to the vibe of the Event.
